Terms of Use
Last updated: [DATE]
Draft template. Have a lawyer review these terms, and fill in the bracketed details, before launch.
1. What Tripwire is
Tripwire ("we", "us") provides automated tools that read public blockchain and market data and flag possible risks in crypto tokens. This includes the scanner and Tripwire Radar on this website. These Terms apply when you use any of them.
2. Not financial advice
Everything Tripwire shows is general information produced automatically. None of it is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, and none of it is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset. A "clear" result does not mean a token is safe. A "tripped" result is not an accusation against any person or project.
3. Radar is not a list of picks
Tripwire Radar shows automated scan results for newly graduated tokens. A token appearing on Radar, clean or tripped, is not an endorsement or a suggestion to buy. Holder access to Radar requires a minimum $TRIP balance that we may change.
3a. Accuracy and availability
Results depend on third-party data sources, including Solana RPC providers and DexScreener. That data can be wrong, incomplete or delayed, and our methods are estimates. We provide the tools "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, and may change or stop them at any time.
4. Your responsibility
You alone decide what to do with your money. Crypto assets, and memecoins especially, are highly volatile, and you can lose everything you put in. Do your own research and only risk what you can afford to lose.
5. The $TRIP token
If and when $TRIP launches, it is a utility token for accessing Tripwire features. It is not an investment, gives no ownership, profit, revenue or governance rights, and carries no promise of value. Its availability may be restricted in some places. You are responsible for following the laws where you live.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use Tripwire to break the law, to harass anyone, to overload or attack our systems or our data providers, or to present our results as something they are not.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Tripwire and its team are not liable for any losses, including trading losses, arising from your use of, or reliance on, Tripwire.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms and will change the date above when we do. Questions: hello@tripwire.example. Governing law: [JURISDICTION].
